The artist group 8kant.dk (octagon) was founded in the summer of 2003. The name of the group takes its starting point in the number 8, which is the symbol of resurrection and for the artists inspiration and work.
It can also symbolise infinity if the number lies down. 8kant.dk was founded to give other artists, people interested in a more varied and inspiring insight. That is why they have chosen a larger creative width by exhibiting paintings, sculptures, collages and jewellery as an artistic whole.

The artist group 8kant.dk will preferably be exhibiting in Denmark and in foreign countries.
